Villa Trupial | Cas Abou

Villa Trupial is a family home under the Caribbeaan sun, on Curaçao - the island of perpetual Summer - on a private estate close to the beautiful beach of Playa Cas Abao.

The open plan lounge and kitchen lead out onto the verandah and open dining area, looking out over the swimming pool, and beyond to a panoramic view of the sea. Also, next to the pool, you will find an outdoor dining area and BBQ for entertaining. The four bedrooms surround a central courtyard, each private and ensuite.

The courtyard connects to the lounge/kitchen, with wide opening shutter doors leading out onto the broad verandah with lounge chairs and the large dining table where guests can enjoy the view, and from there cool off in the pool. Much of the verandah and pool are not overlooked, so it's a private space where you can relax. All the bedrooms have louvred shutters that allow the cooling breeze through, with fans and aircon for the hottest nights.

The guests have access to the entire villa (except a store room), and it is not shared with anyone else. The garden & pool are relatively private, only disturbed by scheduled pool cleaning on Tuesdays & Fridays.

The property managers are Maria and Rob. Do contact them to arrange your arrival, and they can advise you regarding transport and car hire. Although there will be a few initial essentials provided at the villa - including some drinks and food - Maria and Rob can give you directions for an ATM and supermarket. They will be available to call throughout your stay to help with any difficulties.

Cas Abao is a private estate. It has a small beach via a rocky track, but nearby is the wonderful beach of Playa Cas Abao with a bar and dive shop.

Please note our rate is inclusive of WIFI, gas and water. Electricity is exclusive and will be charged at the local rate of $0.50 / €0.50 per kWh.

For those new to Curaçao - the local currency is Nafl's (locally called "Guilders"), but USD are accepted, and you can select either from the ATM's.
