This city villa is located in the area of Otrobanda, a historically important neighborhood in our capital Willemstad, Curaçao. Our unique city villa is an important part of the protected monumental townscape. Otrobanda means "the other side" and is connected to Punda by the Queen Emma Bridge (also known as “The Pontjesbrug"). If you travel by car from Punda to Otrobanda, you will use the Queen Juliana Bridge. Otrobanda is upcoming, hip and trendy and a very popular place to enjoy your holiday! A wide range of shops, bars and restaurants can be found in the surrounding streets.
Willemstad has more than 700 buildings that have been placed on the Unesco list of world heritage sites and many of these buildings are located in Otrobanda. This beautiful neighborhood started flourishing when Punda, which used to be walled, became overcrowded. These days Otrabanda is known for our brand new hospital (2019),Restaurant de Gouverneur and the beautiful shopping center with cinema in Renaissance Resort & Casino. Brionplein is the center of Otrobanda and official festivities often take place here.
Within walking distance of your villa you will find the famous Kurá Hulanda Village, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, cocktails, bites and dinner. This charming old town villa "Kas Kolo" is a self-catering villa boasting a private pool, secluded garden and a colorful stylish decorated interior. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable shady sitting and dining area outside and 3 air conditioned bed rooms. The master bedroom has an adjoining private bath room. The 2 other bedrooms share a full bath room.
Adjoining this villa, front streetside, you will find a separate apartment which can be booked as well, making a stay of 8 guests possible.
Free parking is provided at the back of the villa.
Please note our rate is inclusive of water, gas and wifi. Electricity is not included and will cost € 0,50 per KwH. Our thumb rule for use of electricity is 15 KwH per room per night, provided the a/c runs for 8 hours at 25 degrees Celsius.
Please note this is an semi outdoor property, so occasional encounter with local habitat might occur.
